I’ve never been one to be geared towards fitness. Over the years I’ve tried different personal trainers, different meal plans, and different gyms all in hopes of finding some sort of motivation to lose weight in search of self-confidence and happiness. Sad to say but this photo was taken at my heaviest… 😔
This year I decided that enough was enough and after being off and on diets, I was going to stick to something consistent to finally get the results I deserve. If this global pandemic has taught me anything it’s that the motivation lies within and you must keep your Mind over Matter.
I’m not gonna lie I’ve still had slip-ups and beaten myself up about it (and maybe projected onto others) over the disappointment, but I’ve always gotten back up and tried again. I want to thank those who have joined me on my fitness journey and my keto lifestyle. Those who have been there for me in my down moments, or when I’ve lost myself and my motivation, and to those who simply have been there for me time and time again despite what’s going on out there in the world, and given me a second chance. It’s been a struggle for everyone with COVID-19, and now more than ever we need to continue to support and be there for one another… I’m hoping to leave a lot of things in 2020 including the weight I’ve shed and the inches I’ve lost (3 top sizes & 5 pant sizes) to continue to reach those goals I thought I’d never be able to attain. As depressing as 2020 has been, I’m looking forward to crushing even more goals in 2021 as this brand new and fresh year begins. Come with me and let’s crush our goals together 🙋🏻‍♀️🔥💪🏼🙏🏻
